Students will learn the fundamentals of various languages through the development of the four basic skills: listening, 说话, 阅读和写作. Culture will be highlighted throughout. Several levels are usually taught.
中国人
This is a introduction to the fundamentals of the 中国人 language and culture in order to develop listening, 说话, 阅读, 写作技巧. Language lab is required. We offer Elementary 中国人 I & II. Language lab is required.
法国
We offer introductory and intermediate courses that presents the fundamentals of the 法国 language and culture in order to develop listening, 说话, 阅读, 写作技巧. 初级法语1、2 & Intermediate 法国 I,II) Language lab is required. Our intermediate courses provides additional development of language skills in listening, 说话, 阅读, 和写作. Short literary selections are introduced in a context of 法国 culture and civilization. This course fulfills the Language, 哲学, and Culture foundational component area of the core, and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, 沟通, 社会责任, and Personal Responsibility. 初级法语(一) & II is offered at all 阿拉莫大学. However, Intermediate 法国 I & II is offered at 签证中心, NLC, SAC, SPC. PAC不提供.
德国

日本

西班牙语
Students will learn the fundamentals of 西班牙语 through the development of the four basic skills: listening, 说话, 阅读和写作. Hispanic culture will be highlighted throughout. A wide variety of 西班牙语 courses are offered, including Conversational, Elementary and Intermediate 西班牙语, 西班牙语 for Heritage Speakers, and Career 西班牙语 (Medical).
